Noble Phantasm is an Aion legion that strives to both create a friendly family oriented environment and compete for end game material, such as raid instances and stronghold/siege PvP. We intend to achieve this through strong leadership and a careful recruitment system that focuses on gaining members that have good attitudes and a willingness to participate as a team player.

Our ultimate goal is to try and create a happy balance between hardcore progression and a friendlyt casual feeling guild. While this can be a struggle in and of itself, we have members and officers alike dedicated to seeing this be made into a reality.

First and foremost, we understand that we're not the legion for everyone. We're looking for "nice" members who are ok with a family oriented guild. We believe that win or lose, as long as we do it with good people, we'll be happy. If you have any specific questions about us, please feel free to ask, but here are some of the highlights:

* We're a family friendly legion. So the forums, ventrilo, and guild chat areas are to be kept PG13
* We do not want a game to become anyone's second job. Real life always comes first, and no one is going to "force" anyone to play.
* We have both casual players and hardcore players. We believe that everyone can contribute to the legion in their own way. Some are good at PvP, some are good at PvE, some make the legion a more friendly place to be. We understand and appreciate all those different talents.
* Despite the "casual" atmosphere of Noble Phantasm. We also take many steps to reach the highest levels of end game content.
* Most of our members play very hardcore. They take the game seriously, but just want to freedom to prioritize real life when needed.
* Our legion's structure is uniquely designed to maximize the efficiency of our conduct and ability


Noble Phantasm is a North American legion by name. Most of our member base is from North American and event times will more than likely be tailored to suit a North American audience. However, this does not mean that we're closing our doors to anyone else who'd like to join us. We have a lot of members in our legion from all over the world and we gladly welcome anyone with a positive attitude to join us.

This leadership structure was designed to hit several aspects of legion management that typical legions tend to miss or neglect.

* It reduces officer burn-out by effectively distributing responsibility and work load.
* It Allows for quick decision making since the Guild Leader and the Officers are all capable of making critical guild decisions.
* It puts an emphasis on the people of the legion, where most legions tend to neglect this and focus only on progress and "end game" content.
* Creates "teams" to work together on the most critical aspects of legion management, so more care can be given to detail.


The member structure was designed to solve many problems the officer's have experienced in past guilds.

* It creates "meaning" to guild ranks. Guild ranks are not just for show, but hold purpose and rewards.
* It allows for an accurate assessment of members. No member achieves a new rank without earning it.
* It establishes a careful trial member system to make sure that applicants really are as good as they say they are on their application before being allowed to move up to a full member.
* It rewards the members who go above and beyond the call of duty and stand out as extremely helpful and skilled members of the legion.

Noble Phantasm's strong points are it's determination, tenacity, and heart. Our goal from the very beginning of our guild was always to be a guild that stays true to it's beliefs and do what we do best all the time. We want to be a guild that sticks things out to the very end regardless of whatever hardships come our way. Every guild faces it's share of drama, rough times, fallouts, and the like. However, Noble Phantasm has a long history of seeing issues like that, and maintaining strong enough membership and leadership to make it through undaunted.

There are a lot of things Noble Phantasm doesn't do well. And, we constantly do the best we can with what we've got. However, the content, or the bread and butter of our guild is solid. We sincerely listen to each other, we work together to make things better, no leader is so prideful that they're unwilling to change for a new alternate solution brought to them by a member, and no member is so stubborn they can't listen to an officer's advice. Our crew is tight, and our tenacity to be here to the end is unwavering.
