They should just create a Chrono Trigger sequel and slap the Final Fantasy name on it. BAM! Instant success. It also has the great side affect of loldrama from fans of each series.

Crono and crew go to the Final Fantasy 7 universe, and it turns out Aerith is really just another version of Schala? Jenova and the Meteor were really Lavos? Sephiroth was Magus?

Haha, at first I typed "the princess" and erased Princess and put Schala... but left "the"...
