Is the add-on dungeon worth getting or is it just something that is meant for the hardcore gamers who really want a challenge? I thought about getting it. Right now I am prob 90% through the game my characters are around lvl 43ish.

Is this dungeon just going to **** me off because of some stupid amount of difficulty or is it actually something that is fun and enjoyable for somebody who hasn't tried to max there characters out?

It's a pretty easy dungeon up until the last boss. The floors are all short and identical, and it's an excellent place to level up, even to 99 or 100 or whatever the cap was, and if you want the skill master achievements, it's a very good place to farm ap. The level you start at doesn't really matter because you'll level up extremely quickly; just fight maybe five dudes on each floor. The random enemies are fun and strategic and require some thought beyond attacking with everyone.

I can't beat the last boss. I posted about it actually before; I'll try to find it.

Also, no save points. Instead every five floors there is an elevator to go back to the top, where you can save.

No, not even before the last guy. If you lose to the last guy then you climb down the entire thing again. It's only 25 floors and each floor is short, but that's still unforgivable.

Ahh I knew there was a topic about this somewhere but I just couldn't find it (was looking for a topic with the game title in the subject).

Yea I think I will just skip this. One thing to be a challenge, another to be downright stupid difficult. Adding in no save point (or teleport) before the boss is also a major fail move on their part.

My toons all together don't do anywhere near 20k a hit per turn. MAybe all together if the target is weak agaisnt something I might get 5 or 6k between all of them. I don't really have the desire to lvl to 80 or 90 just to TRY and fight a ludicrously overpowered Xtra boss.

It doesn't matter what they can do. The boss takes only hundreds of damage from everything except divider and reverse. You win in three turns by using divider and reverse if you're lucky and lose in three turns to meteor if you aren't.

The dungeon itself is actually really fun. You can't go up the stairs, only elevators, and there are research notes on each floor that give you hints and stuff asto the catastrophe that happened in the placekind of like in resident evil or something, and there are also hints on how to kill the enemies on the floors. The fact that you can't go up the stairs means that there's also a legitimate danger every time you bypass an elevator, because you have to survive for five more floors. It's the good kind of danger instead of the cheap kind.

Last boss is just terrible. There is no way to power up my characters any more, at all and he can still easily wipe them out. Meteor doesn't do damage either, just instant death, so the only way to live through it is by relying on someone's spell counter randomly activating.
