This has been my favorite DS game since The World Ends with You and I think if you like that one, even though it's not the same, you'll like this title. They are both fast paced and stylistically interesting as well as eminently playable. It's gotten great reviews. I totally recommend it.

I plan on picking this up soon. I love the Shin Megami Tensei mythos, and games. Have you played Knights in the Nightmare? You might dig it if you liked TWEWY. KitN is a strategy, role playing, shooter. If you can picture it. I'm really surprised by the gameplay, it's really addictive and fun. There is a lot of micromanaging, not as deep as say, the Disgaea games, but it comes close. There's also a long list of rules and tutorials to memorize, and just when I think I have everything figured out, there's another little nugget of strategy buried just under me.

I just bought Knights in the Nightmare but haven't started it. I'll definitely start it after I'm done with this game.

Well I went to gamestop today to get knights in the knightmare but they were totally out, so I was about to get pokemon platinum and the dude was like: "oh hay, we have devil survivor." It's nice to have another rpg to play now that tierkreis is done, and luminious arc 2 is still sort of well... In any case I can't take more than small doses of luminous arc's writing.

Well anna, I have to say I really like this game and it has interesting characters, plot, combat mechanisms, a decent amount of difficulty, and a nice art styles. There is just one tiny little problem with it that honestly is a gigantic pulsing boil, festering under the pristine surface of the game itself, just waiting to emerge at the worst possible time.

Who in the damn hell had the bright idea to allow only one damn save file in a damn game with like a hundred different mutually exclusive event branches and at least three ******* endings that I know of?! I mean seriously, what was atlus thinking? What if I don't want to play through the thing like four times. I haven't quite finished it yet because I'm almost paralyzed with what to do on the last day. I wonder if there is a new game plus or not; the manual doesn't say anything about it, and frankly, if I have to go through the tedious devil raising for each time I play through the game, I don't really think I want to do it again.

It's possible that the .SAV file is too large, and they did not have enough room to store more. Pokemon Pearl's save file is the full 1MB and it only has one saved game. I don't know exactly what size Devil Survivor's save file is.

You could always buy a homebrew device where you could backup your save files on a regular basis and create more than one save file for games such at these which have only one save game space.

Yeah Smiley: glare

Been meaning to for years. I think if I counted how much I've spent on ds games over time I might start projectile vomiting.

that much, huh?

I only buy games after I know I'm going to like it/like it.
So many games I thought would be good turned out to be total duds. So glad I didn't buy them ._.

Buy used at gamestop. If you don't like it, return it within a week for no questions asked, for any reason at all, including that you beat it in 6 days.
