I'm pissed. Saw this game at walmart yesterday. Picked up a copy, and went out to buy a new video card.
I get everything installed only to find out that my activation code isn't activated yet because the game doesn't launch until Tuesday....
NOT impressed.

You either didn't read that it was a pre release item or Walmart is in serious violation since the release date is Sept. 22nd.
If you did actually purchase the game from wally world, please report them. That's 15K per game sold prior to official release.

Don't blame Aion, blame Wal-Mart. The Aion website clearly states that pre-order access is ONLY available via specific vendors. Wal-Mart should not have had that on the shelf until Tuesday.

I logged into a queue of 220. Took me about 10 minutes to get in. By the time I did, the queue was around 500.
Also, someone want to post a confirmation on the amount needed to start the legion once they figure it out? I assume donations are being sent to Danalog?

The best part so far was the in-game notification to log into your account admin to get your free preregistration stuff... when the account admin is down (for all of today, so far)

Nah, I just got disco'd just as I was starting my Ascension quest. Now I am 260/531 in the queue so I can zone back in dead.

I don't see why they would have a different population cap between now and release so they need to seriously up the limit or double the servers. I don't see people putting up with 2-3+ hour wait times.

It's most likely an issue with everyone being in the same areas (starter areas) all at once. Not an excuse, but a possible explaination. You have everyone and their mother trying to get on all at once, where normally you'd have logins spread out over a day.
Legion created. Give Danalog, Peepmouse, or Bludwyng a tell to get an invite.
Give Danalog 2k if you want to feel like you've contributed towards founding the Legion (12k)

Just finally got home and about to log in for the first time. I hope the lines aren't that long still.

Well at the last minute I decided to go with Spiritmaster instead of Sorcerer. Reason I decided this is because I think the Spiritmaster will be a decent PvP role down the road. So I am now lvl 10 and took alchemy and tailoring as my first professions. Danalog I have the 2k donation towards the legion. Also, as I said in game I need a couple of days to convert the Ventrilo over for use in aion and I will add you and Bludwyng to the admin list so you guys can modify the channels as well. It is a 25 seat vent, and if we need more than I can adjust it.

HAhahahaha, I enter my access code, payment method etc. All is good. Go to log into the game, get "You have to agree to the terms blah blah blah, log out, try again, get "You haven't paid your bill dumb@$$". Apparently someone screwed up either the billing system, or the error message system. My bet is the server started smoking at 00:00:03 so someone quickly mass updated all the new people to Not Playable.
