What to do after crafting and quests?Follow

One thing that I see that is missing is a PVP server. Let loose the PVP(open the ettenmoors)!
Once the crafting is done. Once you have completed all that you can do. Many stop playing, or wait for updates, then return, complete the updates and leave again. What is there for the rest of us?? I have talked to many who get tired of sitting at 21st hall. They log off for weeks at a time. And what is there to do when everyone logs off, the servers die way, way down. Who is there to help out the (hopefully) new players? If the newer players see a dead game,, they also may leave and sooner than the vets. If, and I do say If we had a pvp server, or a option to pvp full time , the players may stick around a bit longer, or may actualy keep there accounts open. And im sure the developers and Turbine hate seeing hard earned cash flow to another game such as (the bannable word) world of warcraft.
In WOW as most call it, they pvp all the time, yes we all know wow has a pvp areana, but the developers of LOTRO could really get there numbers of hard core players back on track if they would open up the pvp, there were orcs and other nastyies on the movies,, why not let monster players have the option to PVP outside of the moors, same as in wow,, you can turn on or off your pvp ability with the flip of a switch per say. I am 90% certain many 60 level characters would love to find a wondering orc out of his realm of saftey wandering to close to the pass of rivendell. Or the warg pack,, who wants to crush the town of bree after a hard night of ettenmoors to relish in watching the new guys run for cover?
yes,, it would actually take time for the developers to rework things, but END GAME would be better. After the volumes and chapters are completed,, the rest of us who actually enjoy playing pvp know all the spots to hide in ettenmoors.
I challenge the developers of lord of the rings online to rethink there tactics. It will take work,, the world is there, you have added, subtracted,, modified before .. why not (flip the script on its end) take LOTRO to another level?

i have to ask dude...
what is END GAME for you?
cause for me is when u totally finish a game, run out of options of thing u have to do...
and in LOTRO, i mean...complete all the deeds, get all the traits to 10, have all the possible titles and visit at least once each corner of every map, get all the possible "end game" armor sets (radiance set, the armor set from the rift and ettemoors), have decent legendary weapons (first or a great second age), kindred reputation with all factions...and a nice one... max fishing level and max rank in pvmp :)
thats what lotro end game is in my opinion...with all that done, all u have to do is wait for new content...

I agree with the OP to a certain degree, I do feel that pvp could use a bit of an upgrade. A pvp server would be interesting but then you would have to make a new character and level up again but the world pvp would be like in WoW and put a new spin on the game. I would try it out. Use the same basic template as the Ettenmoors but make it world wide on one server. An alter "reality" of Middle Earth? Where Sauron has spread his forces far and wide and built strongholds through out Middle Earth. Use many of the same quests for both sides but make monsters start at level 1 like the players do.

How much time do you think it would take the developers to make such a thing? Maybe too much? I don't know.

dev team would have to implement a lot of features and created new ones in the monster play. I think it wil require a lot of work and time and they already have to create new content for the next books and expansion. I not saying this is a bad idea, but i doubt turbine will do such thing nowadays..
