My gf is looking for a PC game to play that has quests and puzzles, but not an MMO. Any recommendations? She doesn't really care for action type games unfortunately, so things like Bioshock and Fallout are out Smiley: frown.

Fallout is an action game?

Anyways,

What about puzzle quest? Plenty of puzzles, and quests to be found in it. The only bad part about it is the computer is a cheating *******, but aside from that it's pretty good.

I'd suggest baldur's gate but that's the exact same thing as fallout so...

You could also always download vba and take advantage of it's library. Rivera's a pretty unique rpg, but I could never find it in stores because it was rare as crap. Roming it was definitely a good choice.

Not so much for quests, but Portal is a fun puzzle game. Only problem is it's only a few hours long.

Monkey Island. Grim Fandango.

[adult swim].com has a couple fun games I liked a lot, like Gigolo Assassin and Amateur Surgeon.

I'm not sure she'd enjoy Monkey Island. I gave her Five Days a Stranger, and she kept complaining about the graphics Smiley: lol. I'm downloading Puzzle Quest for her to try, and I'm actually going to see if she likes Diablo... it doesn't quite fit the criteria but she enjoyed soloing in WoW so it seems like a logical step.

I love Ben 'Yahtzee' Crowshaw. Five days a stranger kinda scared me lul.

Steam has a remake of the original monkey island, all purdy new graphics. Clicky.

edit: Also, Gigolo Assassin is a point/click adventure, similar to said prior.

If she enjoyed soloing in WoW she could try something like Oblivion.

Perhaps. I'm gonna try to get her to do Diablo first, and go from there. I'd say it's the most universally liked out of those types of games.
