For some reason I can't imagine that being any good. It would be like a chrono trigger mmo.

Some things are better offline.

It's still very beta-y.

Well if you do not try it (it's free) and post that it's no good I think you are just trolling.

Ludy, you obviously don't know how Alla works :P

But yeah, it is the thinking like that, the thinking that stunts the growth and diminishes dreams and smothers passion and puts that onion ring in the thing of fries.

How on earth can I be trolling? The only thing I could catch would be hypersensitive earthbound fanboys, irate at the notion that anything related to the IP could possibly be less than good. We aren't dealing with anyone like that are we? So it shouldn't be trolling to post skeptical observations about the transformation of a one player story into an MMO.

He was trolling you by calling you a troll.

I considered that. I ultimately dismissed the idea.

I admit, I grinned, went "AWESOME!" then thought about it for a couple seconds and realized I didn't want to play some half-assed MMO of Earthbound, but the actual game.

I wonder if the battery in my old SNES cartridge is still alive... hmmmm...

Well I just played link to the past about a week ago and it still had my save files from when I was like 6, so I wouldn't be surprised if your earthbound would still work.

If it's as hard as mother 3 was at times I think I'd rather play it with save states though. Maybe it was just that Beethoven ghost that made me paranoid...

Mr. Passion and Lord Passion were a lot of fun, mainly due to the music and his attacks.

Was that his name?

Whatever, all I know is that he killed duster like 10+ times before I finally killed him. I had to farm ******* healing items to prepare for that ******* Smiley: motz

In contrast, the barrier trio were not nearly as hard as I thought they'd be.

I was *almost* tempted to try it just to see how in the hell they'd make an MMO out of it. I had a good time with Earthbound back in the day, but I honestly can't remember anything about it except the weird graphics and music.

I'll give it a shot. I mean, it's free, why not?

The boss that gave me the hardest time was the Jealous Bass. Mr. Generator was a pain in the *** too.
