Aion?Follow

I've pre-ordered it, the beta is just amazing tbh Made by NC Soft, using the CryteK engine (probably half), and it is NOT one of those typical Korean grind fest MMO's with no quests, good charachter models and isn't 100% Pvp based and the list goes on...

Yes the charachter models and the creation process looks like the other Korean/Asian MMO's, but thats not all to it. Its bascially like WoW

(saying that helps people actually read this :P, since so much idiots on YouTUbe always comment on Aion videos saying that 'if its simmilar to WoW then ill try it out')

But I am not joking around, the faction and PvP system is really simmilar.Its just like most western MMO's with raids, cinematics and instances (dungeons) and it has a Pve side to it aswell, and alot more(most raid bosses are T and S but they're working on it). It is going to come out in NA and in the US, and in Asia there are currentley 3.5 million subscribers when I had read 2 weeks ago (not surprising, but pretty good so far) and I expect the amount to increase in the western countries by over 1-2 million, and much more when people actually realize how good it is over the years.

I dont want to wall you with text, just so you can look some of the bigger details your self because reading is not as good as seeing it all. Just in case you want to try out another MMO and take a break from WoW,but this game is just unique from all other Asian MMOs. (no offense)


And btw (this is mainly for the people who have no idea about the game, so dont go on about it already being on Steam, and "we already know") xD (And do not take this post, as a post to encourage people to quit WoW.. lol :P)

1. The game looks nice and if your computer cant handle it thats proabaly the down side to it

2. People say that at level 15 you have no quests and etc. I dont know what beta they were in but my assasin is level 17 and i still have a full quest log and the only "Grinding" i ever did was killing mobs for quest items, and the beta version is only 1.1 to test the localization the game will launch with version 1.5 with increased xp from quests and the addition of 1,500 quest to aid in leveling to the cap.

3. The combat system you experience was very fluid the combo system is great and visually rewarding.

4. Flight is a very important part of the game and very important to the story line i dont see why anyone wouldnt be looking forward to it.

5. You can play as an elyos, the asmodians are dark and evil looking but their not necessarily evil they just evolved differently to adapt to the harsh climate on their side of the planet.

Now i'm no Aion fan boy ive played WoW for awhile now and i have loved it and i will continue to play it too.
