browsing through the bazaar I came across clothing with one or two sockets available.
What does that mean?
What goes into the sockets? (what are they called?)
Who places it in the socket, the trader or the player (consumer)?
I noticed a socket mention on the live server, as sony had a glitch with the new droids.

GU12 introduced cybernetics which allow two sockets, but some items which were crafted over five years ago picked up this second socket too, which wasn't intended. The Devs are working on a retroactive fix for it now.

Guess I was reading all the wrong guides, I couldn't find info on this anywhere.
So just to make sure:
Can I attach a "clothing attachment" to any clothes I buy or does it have to state that it has a socket available? (p.s. I am not a trader)

Has to have a socket, and crafted items will usually have a socket.
