I'll vote for FFXII, I loved it. Also Rogue Galaxy, Dark Cloud/Dark Cloud 2.

Glad I'm not the only one here who has positive feelings for FFXII lol. Dark Cloud 2 I'd second, but not the first one. The first Dark Cloud game really didn't have that good of a story line imo, and the gameplay was waaaay too repetitive. The second Dark Cloud has a pretty good story line, the graphics are much better, and the gameplay is significantly better too and way less boring.

I think people expect too much out of video games sometimes Smiley: nod Either it's fun or it's not, that's how I look at it.

Yup that's how I feel too. I feel that way towards movies too for the most part. The only time I get picky is when the movies are based on books I've read. If they stray too much I get pissed. Very seldom do I complain about bad plots in movies or games, but it does happen. As long as I'm entertained, I'm happy.

God of War also had a variety of difficulties and weapons/magic one could play with, which gave it rather more replay value than a game like Onimusha really has. Which is still kind of irrelevant, because saying "Game A is popular and it's short!" has nothing to do with how much time someone's going to be able to enjoy Game B.

When you say that a game is flawed because it is short, and I point out that such a thing is not considered a flaw to many, many people, one of whom might be the OP, it's not coming out of nowhere.

I didn't say it was flawed. I simply said it wouldn't be a great value for someone on a limited budget who's probably looking to get a lot of playtime out of his money. I also pointed out that God of War has significant replay value.
