Pass on the good wordFollow

I posted this in the Aion offical forums and I want to pass it on to everyone else. The RMT spam is becoming a nightmare, and we the players have to make our voices heard to the production team. This is a great game, but if the production team does not do something quick then the game is going to start bleeding players. I heard lots of people talking about walking away simply because the spam is just going way out of control.

If my post gets censored then I will post a copy of it on here.

It is a little annoying to have tells popping up while I am questing. I haven't spent to much time in the city, as they are very annoying there.

it would be a simple matter to make /w locked to lvl 5 unless the person is your friend, as /1 is unavailable before 5. Still, maybe that may not be good enough.

The second thing I have noticed is RMT sites advertising keys for as little as $23.99. THAT is how they are getting all their keys... they are getting them wholesale! NCSoft needs to find the source and kill it.

I finally got my retail copy yesterday but didn't get a chance to log in until this morning. Within 5 minutes I had 3 tells, not counting how many advertisements I saw in the various channels.

With this many spammers being allowed to run free, I wonder how many scripting and botting programs are being used. Since they don't have GameGuard up and running all bots have to be reported and since they seem to be ignoring spammer reports, I wonder how many botter reports are being ignored.

The problem is that NCSoft is the source. Either they are selling them wholesale or someone found a way to crack their key generator.

Aion has the potential to be the most successful post-WoW MMO on the market, but if they don't fix this quick it's going to destroy the economy and sink the game within a few months. I know money is easy to make in this game but seeing items advertised for 500,000+, only a week after release, is a pretty good indication that the economy is already being effected.

I am betting good kinah on a key gen of some sorts. Why would NCsoft sell massive amounts of keys to anyone, especially at a discount. Yeah D2D and FP both have the client to download, but you still purchase the key through NCsoft's master account manager. If you buy a key from these RMT's two things are going happen. First they get 23 what ever bucks from you, and second 3 days later they use the key to take your account from you and now they have a paid account to work off of.

I haven't been on yet tonight, but I am expecting more out of control chat and RMT spam. The real issue is the GM support. You can't run a game with 11 hours of GM support.
