The game came out last year in Japan, under the name "Riz-zoawd" Not quite sure how they came up with that name.
It's an anagram of Oz Wizard, so they can sell the game without being sued by whoever owns the original rights to the story.
I'm pretty sure the book story has been released for public domain use, so there wouldn't be any copyright issues to begin with.
It being an anagram is a better answer than I came up with; I kind of figured they just asked Snoop Dog to come up with it.
As for the game itself, I read the combat system is atrocious, which takes away from the game itself. Some sort of ratio system, where you get a set amount of points, and each character represents a number. Something like Dorothy and Scarecrow being 1, Lion being 2, and Tinman being 3, with a maximum of 4 per turn. The story might be amazing (
after all, it is based off a classic), if the combat is as bad as I've read, it'll turn me away from it. Interesting enough to make me curious, but not enough for me to go out and get it without reading some real player reviews.
And possibly wait for it's price to be dropped.
