I havent played SWGs in over a year because i dotn have the money, but now that the tempest server is going out i need to move my character or it will be deleted and i will lose EVERYTHING i have acquired and accomplished by myself and with all my friends, is there anything i can do????

You can log in (try, you may have a free trial waiting for you) and move your character for free now until 5:00 PM PDT next Thursday.
After that time it will cost you $50 to get Customer Services to try and move all your characters and items for you, but they don't guarantee that they can get it all.

I have to admit I am a little surprised they havent offered a free week or something since announcing the closures, seems like incredibly bad planning to me.
However I know both my accounts had a free 2 weeks (outside of the free months) offered so perhaps yours will to.

They already did a few times IIRC, back when they gave free transfers out.
True but at that stage they were saying "we have no plans to close any servers" now they are closing servers I think it would be good to allow a free week (even if it was just on the servers closing) so people could move characters.
Lets face it if people are concerned about losing their characters then it is an indication that they still have some interest in the game and it may not hurt to cut them some slack.
