I heard something along the lines of being able to Enchant gear for +stats.

Now I understand the Manastones mechanic, but is this something different? Something about being able to break down armor to enchant other armor?

It didn't really make sense but I looked up Crafting on the wiki and I didn't see an enchanting option. So I am just confused.

it kinda works like manastones when adding it to an item.

1- you have to buy extraction tools from the general merchant
2- then break down items green or better using the extraction tool
3- this will give you an item such as level 26 enchantment stone
4- use that stone like you would a manastone
5- this will add a +1 to the weapon/armor that you used it on and in () give you a number next to the stat it raised.
6 - if you use a second one on the same item it has a chance to not work and you can lose the enchantment you already had on it.
7- think you can go to level 4 or 5 on the same item.
8- above where it shows the manastones you have socketed it shows the enchantment level

hope this helps

Actually the top level is +10 on any given item

Using enchantment stones that are significantly higher level than the item you're trying to enchant improves your odds of success (amount over to make a difference is different depending on the quality-level of the item you're enchanting)
