Can anyone tell me the best way to get Abyss points? I'm still just a noob, but I'm level 30 now and starting to see some very beautiful armor and weapons I'd really love from the Abyss Points NPCs. I know you get them from doing quests, missions, killing mobs, and killing player characters, but none of these really give you a lot. I highly doubt this is the only way to accumulate them, and people have told me there are certain instances or raids that give you a big chunk when you do them, which is how people get their big chunk of points.

So, could anyone tell me where to start off, and the best way for me to start getting abyss points? Thanks a lot.

Can either Solo in the Abyss/Do quests in the abyss, or join those rift parties that go and farm bots and stuff.

Right, I've currently done this, pretty hardcore to. But in the month or so I've been playing and all the abyss questing, bot ganking I could possibly do I've only accumulated 11,000 abyss points. I see armor that goes for 2,000,000 per set, and even lower level sets cost around 60-100k for a set. I know there's got to be a slightly better way, as I've heard. Some kind of instances, or something to do with the fortresses.

Honestly I dont know if there is a better way. Take a look at the abyss rankings. The highest so far that I have seen personally was a lvl 4 asmos and Im pushing rank 5. The think I have ran into is there doesnt seem many mobs out there around my lvl that I can solo and not worry about being ganked. Once in awhile Ill get to go kill balaar and the asmos will leave me alone.

Yeah, but you have to also remember most people spend their points when they get enough for a piece they want. That way you aren't losing more abyss points when you die, which is self defeating. You might see a rank 9 who's been rank 2-3 several times over.
