NCsoft has acknowledged that the experience curve can be steep in Aion, and the team has come up with an interim fix while it works on a more permanent solution. In order to help players level their characters at a quicker pace, NCsoft will be hosting double experience weekends over the next three weeks that will affect characters levels 1-35. Crafting and gathering experience will be boosted as well.
In the future, NCsoft plans to host more double exp weekends once or twice a month. The permanent fix will come in a sizeable patch next year. In addition, this week's patch will also lower Soul Healing costs and increase the experience bonus that Energy of Repose bestows for levels 20–44.
So long story short, be sure to log in these next three weekends to enjoy some double exp. Of course, it won't help those of you who are higher than level 35, but it will make it easier to level an alt or two.
