Ok, I've googled the **** out of this one, but it just won't work. We're trying to unlock the three songs from Death Magnetic. It says online that all we have to do is beat The Thing That Should Not Be in career mode on any instrument and they unlock. One site said we had to be level 8. Neither of those do anything. We've even 5 starred it on expert. I'm at a loss here. Did I miss something?

Have you tried just soloing it to see if it unlocks?

Yeah, we're doing it solo, we're just sharing the career. Oh, it's on the 360, if that helps.
According to the GameFaqs 360 board for GH: Metallica, the Death Magnetic album is DLC you have to play for before you can play.
