Warning regarding Phishing ScamsFollow

Recent weeks have seen a sudden rise in phishing scams. The most common one is a private whisper wishing you a merry christmas and telling you to go to a web site to get a special gift from NCSoft. This is a scam! When you go there and enter your username and password, your account is hijacked, your toons stripped, all your possessions sold, and the kinah transferred to a mule account.

NCSoft recently sent a letter to all players explaining good account security, including a plea to change your password frequently and NEVER give your account information to anyone!

Remember, NCSoft will NEVER ask you to give them your account name and password, except on the aiononline.com and ncsoft.com websites. Beware of sites that mimic these domains but do not match them exactly. One common method of spoofing a domain is to make it a subdomain to the phishers website, like ncsoft.com.istealyourkinah.ru
