New To lotrFollow

Hi there, well I have been reading up and such over the last 2 days.

Found an unpacked Lotro cd and thought why havent I used it yet, well from mind to hands was not to far and I installed and was yay on my way :)

Well since the cd was bought like when the game came out I had to install updates and such which ofc I am fine with :) However when it gets done updating I get this odd message.

An Update error occured
Unable to decrypt and de-serialize the data downloaded from server.

Well ofc i dont panic I think well this must happen to alot, alas it seems it does not. I mail the support team of Lotro and now after Mailing and such for over 2 days I havent got closer to actually play the game. So I uninstalled everything and started over, thought wth I will buy atleast the Mines of Moria thingy and install that digitally, Again I have the same issues after installing the game, and updates.
So dear readers if anyone has encountered this issue could you perhaps guide me through something that works since, the Technicians cant figure out what I have to do :)

I really would like to play this game.
