X should work to move ahead in conversations, hubby says to use Start for skipping cutscenes.

Female Shepard is much more fun to listen to.

Agreed. Renegade female shepard is fun. Beating the crap out of that guy for Thane's loyalty mission was awesome.

Hahaha, and I forgot about headbutting the krogan. Smiley: laugh Evil ***** shepard is badass.

I'm finding the game a bit repetitive and timesinky. It's basically, walk around, talk to people, get into a fight, cover, shoot, power, repeat until mobs stop spawning.

They dumbed down the game, because apparently it was too hard before. They made it less RPG"ey" and more FPS"ey". I'll still beat it.

Female Shepard definitely has a great voice actress. I'm definitely playing a Renegade on my next run though... Paragon is fun but gets old sometimes Smiley: tongue.

I typically play one of each. A Renegade male and female, and then a Paragon male and female. Or at least that's what I did with 1. Now though, with several different choices for your paramour achievement, I'm really screwed.

Ok, I got this game on PC, and am having a problem with the combat. Maybe im missing something, or this is just how the game is.

When in combat, i want to bring up the HUD and assign orders to my squad while in the hud. For example, I want one to use an ability on one enemy, and the other guy to use an ability on the other enemy. Problem is, i have to put my reticle over an enemy, then pause it, issue a command, unpause it, put my reticle over something else, pause it, issue command, etc.

Can you not target enemies while in the HUD on PC? I've heard you can on XBox.

Halp!

Right click and drag around to aim while you have the HUD up.

So, I pop by the Citadel for the first time and have to get my IDs reinstated. I'm talking to the security guy and out he comes with a quote from The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I was amused.

I've never had so much fun with an FPS as I've been having with ME2. I did my first play through on Normal difficulty (because my FPS skills are mediocre at best) and enjoyed the hell out of it...except for the Husks. I haetz them. Started another play through on Veteran and it's about the challenge level that suits me...missions I breezed through on Normal are a little less forgiving and the tactical aspect comes more into play. Not only that, but my squadmates seemed to have received an intelligence downgrade with the upwards bump in difficulty (which was not all bad...in the first mission after meeting the Illusive Man, Miranda got obliterated by the assault drones. She had been standing there on a balcony like a pro eating all kinds of weapons fire when she died and promptly went limp all bent over the balcony rail and such. I was all like, "Good thing she's only unconscious otherwise what just came to mind would be crossing the line into necrophilia...")

Ahem...

Also, the detail put into the characters' stories is awesome. Thane and Legion wound up being my favorites by the end of the game.

Then I made a female Shapard on "Casual" difficulty just to go the full Renegade route. It's fun for me in small bursts but after a few Renegade dialogue options and interrupts I start to hate her so I stop playing D:

All of my characters have been Soldiers so far because I prefer to alternate between assault rifle and sniper rifle (with the occasional heavy weapon for lulz) but I may try a Vangaard next.

Just beat it for the first time... amazing game. Gonna start a new character and go full renegade; just have to decide what class I want to play this time. I'm thinking Infiltrator.

I'm only playing on the weekends lately, so I'm still on my first play through. I've found that it's just a bit too easy play as an Assassin. Head shots are sort of hax.

Actually I've found the entire game easier than 1. I've started the final mission, but I don't wanna play cause then it'll be over.

Alright, just finished up my first play through and am just annoyed. I finished off the last boss, everyone was alive. Then during the ending CS, Jack gets killed. I kept everyone alive and still got screwed over in the end.

Finished it last night. Game was *much* easier than ME 1. Still enjoyed it very much.

If you have the Cain heavy weapon and max heavy weapon ammo upgrades, you can two shot the final boss. Kind of lame, actually.

I have the Cain, but I used the Avalanche most of the time.

I prefer the Collector particle beam for typical use. The Cain was pretty fun though for the final boss, only got one shot out of it though Smiley: frown.

I'm enjoying it now that I'm current with Lost, done with Bioshock 2 (Normal & hard), & done with my 2nd play through in DA: O.

I think I can beat it before next Tuesday when FFXIII drops.

Playing as an Infiltrator Renegade/Paragon mix, depending on my squad mates at the time. I'm liking it, not as much as Dragon Age, but it's still good.
