Need help finding Vaino in Forochel please!Follow

I have been running around Norsu-leiri forever looking for Vaino. Even when I stand directly on the ring indicating his location, all I find are Guardian mobs. Is there some trick to accessing another part of Norsu-leiri? I can't find Sampo either ...
