Any FF7 experts here?

hokay so I'm replaying FF7 for ***** and giggles, and happen to have 2 cover materias. Both have 1 star, meaning they only cover 20% of the time. Does anyone know if you put them together they become 40% cover? I tried testing it but didn't notice any particular increase in covers. But I cant be certain until I have two at 40% or 60%. I searched the net and couldn't find any answers. Thanks,

I don't really know but if i had to guess id say they probably dont stack.

The answer is no. It doesn't work like HP up or MP up materia. I kind of forget, but I think only blue materia can stack like that. (that doesn't mean they all stack)
