1. PK/griefing prevention and penalties systems.
2. Increased rewards.
3. Dedicated PvP spaces (arenas)
4. Etc (practice mode, tournament, ruler system)

I am particularly in support of 2, 3, and 4. 1 does not personally matter so much to me as I will be rolling on a PvP/free PK ruleset server, but I can see how it would be important and desirable to others. Arenas, practice mode, and game run tournies, either manual or automated, will certainly contribute to accelerating the development of play due to having environments convenient for testing and competition. Having to rely purely on community organized events and testing with a duel system is possible but requires more effort to confirm theories and the validity of practical setups and techniques. Additionally, I feel that arenas and tournaments should support individual, team, and guild queuing in different numbers formats to be accessible to a wider base of players and have less barriers to entry. At the very least, some small scale formats such as 5 vs 5 or smaller for my personal interests.
