It is known that jumping is available in TERA, but does it serve any purpose or have any mechanisms behind its use aside from terrain navigation? At this current point in time, various community members have noted properties of jumping that affect usage for practical purposes, however the reasons for the behaviors are unknown and may not be universal, nor are they confirmed. Further testing is required between race/class combinations for confirmation. However, I will put them here for your reading… slow news and no test yet anyways, right?

* May increase transit speed. Is it because of retaining out of combat movement? Or an inherent property of jumping?
* May suffer higher rates of being knockdown. Is this statistically true, or simply perceived in high frequency to be suspect?
* May be used to help in avoiding certain projectiles. Does this raise hitboxes enough to require aim adjustment?
