just a question for yaFollow

Hey, this is an MMO ive always wanted to try but my friends were never that intrigued, but here i am ready to give it a go, but first i got a couple questions for ya that current players can answer

1. has LOTRO still a good game for new players or has it evolved into a endgame style of game?

2. is it more solo or group based game?

3. Quest based or grind?

Not sure I would say "almost no exp" but mobs are certainly small compared to quests. Still, I often cap-off a ding with kills. You did nail the focus of the game, however. The story is more important than the end-game. Regarding groups, I would add that the Fellowship (group) quests are darned good XP and better dropped gear comes from group mobs, of course, but you can play the entire game without ever grouping and still feel involved in the story. The level of immersion is better than any game I have played.

In Beta, many players on Free Accounts used skirmishes and repeatable chapters of the epic story to level when quest content got thin. Bottom line, LOTRO offers a rich palette of choices for leveling, whether you prefer to solo, duo or group.
