Since everyone is responding to the viral marketer as a legitimate post, I guess I will too.
So, baring you want to play a very specific console exclusive game(s) that would trump all other factors, I don't see why anyone would buy anything other than a Wii. Perhaps if you had a terrible computer and could not upgrade it.
I've said it before, but it can't hurt to restate it. The problem with the PS3 and 360 can be easily summed up. They are largely redundant with the pc, and where the three overlap the pc is nearly always superior.
Why would I want to play TF2, Left4Dead, Mass Effect, Prototype, GTA 4, Fable, Modern Warfare 2, etc. any of these games on the PS3 or 360 when I can play a better version for the same cost or less on the pc? A large portion of these console's library, and many of them the top games, are all available on the pc.
More than just direct ports though, the PS3 and 360 offer the same general experience as a pc, just with a controller. It hit me hard for the first time when a friend bought Burnout Paradise and I realized we couldn't play multiplayer on the same console. Wow. The PS3 and 360 both tend to specialize in FPS and racing titles, which is something the PC also does extremely well if not better. 8 of the 10 best selling 360 games are FPS (most found on the PC), one is racing, and another is Fable 2 which is a pc available rpg. The Ps3 has a little more platformer/adventure and rpg in its top lineup, but is still largely FPS and racing. Most of the games focus their multiplayer on online matches, which is where the pc easily dominates.
I bought a Wii because I wanted a few specific games that would be exclusive to it, but I'm happy I bought it because it's the only one of the three that I still view as a console and not a gimped pc. All its top titles are exclusive the Wii and can't be found on pc. It focuses on genres that are more sparse on the pc such as adventures, platforming, party games, and other misc. genres. I see about two fps/tps titles on its best selling list and mario kart as the only racing game. It focuses on in-person multiplayer, which is the entire point of console multiplayer. It offers a control setup that is unique to console gaming. Gamepads for pc easily abound, but don't typically do what the wiimote does.
Everything that the Wii does either well (cheap, simple, quality platformers and adventure games) or poorly (online play, graphics, etc.) differentiates it from the pc. Everything the PS3 and 360 do well (graphics, online play, strong FPS and racing libraries, media capabilities) and do poorly (crashes, offline multiplayer, price, etc.) make it similar to the pc.
