Which part of the game would you like to see ArenaNet talk about next? Is there anything which has you particularly hyped up, which we don't know much about yet? Maybe you'd like to see them demo one of the dungeons, release an article about PvP, a particular class reveal, or have them explain crafting.

What interests you the most?

----------

Personally I'd like to see some PvP information next. Structured particularly, but WvW is also very much of interest. There's so much there we don't know about.

Well, the assassin/rogue and paragon/paladin archetypes are too strong not to be included, so they'll definitely be there in some respect. I'd imagine they'll probably also announce them relatively early as they'll draw roleplayers to the game in droves.
The other definite inclusion (imo at least) is the Mesmer, which I felt was the only somewhat unique character Guild Wars brought to the table.

I am also interested in the PvP side of the game, as I spent way too much time pissing about in Ascalon before actually doing anything fun. Here's hoping this time it's a bit more newcomer-friendly!

EDIT: I'm also really excited to get a list of skills so I can theorycraft (and read other peoples' theorycrafting).

Crafting is something that I am eager to hear about.

I too would really appreciate some information about how PvP is going to work in Guild Wars 2. We know a lot about how PvE is going to play out now, but we are still almost completely in the dark when it comes to the competitive play aspects of the game. As someone who purchased (and stuck with) Guild Wars for the excellent PvP it offered, knowing the details of WvW and structured matches before GW2 releases is very important to me.

I would like to find out more about the crafting and how they plan to make it more fun and less grindy, but before that I would like to heaar more about the PvP, in GW1 PvP started feeling booring after a while, everyone was using the same builds, it almost felt like grinding. I wonder if they plan to change that in GW2, and if yes, how? Imo the long term energy resource and the positioning might play a big role in that, skill ballance as well as the ballance of the unique class mechanics such as death shroud and pets.

Another interesting thing is - how big the PvP maps will be? I expect them to be slightly bigger than the average GW1 GvG map, but if they make em too big, with a team only as big as 5 man, running around hiding in different corners of the map might be an issue, especially if radars dont show you your opponent's location (like the radar on the demo).

Probably WvW. The whole idea seems to be a lot of fun, as well as a good PvP experience.

I'm not really a big PvPer, but I do enjoy being a little competetive every once in a while

Another class is always nice but as for something else I'd like to hear about any party finding tools the game will include, more about the sidekick system, and details regarding the mini games and other social activities that will be available in major cities.

I'd love to hear something about competitive PvP simply because it would mean that the rest of the game is pretty much sorted out. Sadly that won't be the case, so I'll go for some crafting information.

Something PvP related. For the most part I'm sold on the PvE content as it all looks solid (concerns regarding dungeons aside) so it would be nice for some details besides "we've been having fun with it" from the Arenanet team. WvWvW sounds fun, but I'm curious about how GvG will unfold in a 5v5 setup.

I'm with this guy. The lack of information on PvP has me...wondering.

I'm eager to hear about WvW mechanics and maybe see a map :D hopefully there will be varying WvW maps. :P

I'd love to see some more information on PvP, particularly the hot-join gametype they mentioned where you can join a game in progress. That sounds like a great idea for casual players who are just looking for something to do, and potentially much less frustrating than a format like random arena.

It's gotta be Structured PvP. There's been so much talk about PvE and WvW and next to nothing on the original core of the Guild Wars 1 game.

Come on Izzy, don't let us down again. :(

As with many others, I would like to hear more about PvP. Some class reveals never hurt anybody either.
#15 Nov 18 2010 at 7:24 PM Rating: Decent
I think I'd like to have a detailed demo of one of the cities, perhaps with someone commentating on the architecture and details of that city.

I'm pretty sure it's safe to say that everyone would be pleased by a new profession reveal. PvP Attracts a really large crowd of competitive players and I'm sure more information on that would be much appreciated by the community. I personally am interested in hearing more about rumored character model revamps. What races might be changed etc. I'd be happy with some more artwork. Any information at all would be great though, Beggars can't be choosers. ;D

Uh...go on youtube and see any number of the demo videos there. You'll see Divinity's Reach, the human capital, and several things inside it including: Merchants and Vendors, the grand scale of the city, Shooting Gallery, the palace gardens, and the Salma (Home) District.

My thoughts exactly. I really want to know more about the World v World v World PvP and know what the mechanics will be when the game is released. I'd definitely hope that they'll be multiple maps on rotation, each map having a specific type of terrain (temperate, islands, canyons, rivers with bridge crossings, etc). Because so far all we've got is the Guild Wars 2 wiki and info that has not been acquired from a trust worthy source (ANet's blogsite).

However the next reveal would likely be one of the unrevealed Professions, because in the "When it's Ready" blog, Eric Flannum says:

"We’re working hard on the implementation of things like crafting, guilds, PvP, and underwater combat. We’ve got another profession in a good state and are getting ready to start the long process of preparing it for its debut."

So you can except a new profession to be revealed fairly soon.

Would love to hear more about the combo system. With what we know, we can take a nec, ranger, war and ele. Lay static field, poison well, bonfire and launch massive arrows and bullets from within those, and basically have a heck of a light show? Or will it actually devastate as it would imply oO?
:o Will there be vampiric weapons?

For me, I'm interested in PvE content. I would like to hear some more ideas with their PvE end game content or possibly go over some of the world with screen shots/videos

I think if they are looking for a "smaller" article, like say the dye article, then I would love to see stuff about Guilds. I want to know the kinds of ideas they have for guild halls, guild storage, guild structure (ranks/positions, customizable?), and the place of Guilds in PvP.

Of course I always love seeing new profession info, though I am not very interested in seeing the rogue-assassin-type which is what I bet we will get next.

PvP is something that will be interesting to hear about, and I am particularly interested in WvW because it seems the most new to the GW franchise. Really anything will do though...

My list in order of what I'm most interested in seeing as of right now:

1. The sylvari and norn redesign. Hopefully they can make the sylvari look better and the norn more wild! :3
3. The BML. Seriously, since the first day I saw that concept piece of that BML throwing a blue spirit-hammer-thingy, I've been going gaga over what that profession can do!
4. Mesmers… Do I really need to explain myself for this one? :P
5. The remaining two adventurers. I’m curious to see how both of them play out, especially since most of the community has mixed and matched all of the ideas around these two separate professions.
6. How will guns work in the game? I know this has been discussed to death, but I’m still curious how they will wirk.
7. WvW. To be more precise though, I want to know some of the more detail aspects of it. Such as rewards for winning and getting second place, what happens when your shard gets into third place, exactly how many players can there actually be in a single game at once, will there dynamic events within WvW as well, what types of NPCs and monsters (if any at all) can we expect to find during the game, and how many maps are there going to be for WvW and how will they be randomized? I know it’s a lot, but I’m really interested in it.

Now I know that WvW is last on my list, but has the most questions. The reason behind this is that as much as PvP interests me, I'm a PvE player at heart. I love the story behind Guild Wars, and Guild Wars 2 is shaping into a world that I want to immerse myself into, which is why I want to know more about the broader aspects of the game, since they’ll be affecting both PvP and Pve. I know, it sound weird… but I am weird! :S

It would be great to see there dynamic system in effect. Watching the full sequences of saving a town or loosing against the attack and the enemy take over.

1. Sylvari: What will be their racial ability, and would like to see more designs.

2. Remaining Professions: I really want the chronomancer or the summoner since they never got their chance when Utopia was cancelled.

3. Dragons: I want to learn more about their history since they are a big part of the game.

4. Tryia: I would like to learn more about how much Tryia changed in 250 years since the original.

5. Dynamic Event: I would like to see more examples in action.

Remember the Creed:

Nothing is true and everything is permitted.

The first thing I would love to see is more information about WvW. I want to see if it is going to see if it is any way similar to the RvR in Dark Age of Camelot. I really hope it is, but with their strong influence of structured PvP it will probably be an afterthought.

The second thing I really want to hear from them is information and maybe a video about the rising of Orr. The "Atlantis" of the Guild Wars universe has always interested me, and it is something I look forward to alot.

Of course I want what everyone else wants as well: profession releases. I really they release a profession that really clicks with me and I get that "that-is-what-i-am-destined-to-play" feeling. I just want Arenanet to go with what they have ready as stated in one of their last blog posts. *claps* to Arenanet, you're doing a great job.
