Do we have any artists here who would like to share their work? Always love to meet new artists, maybe we can paint chat together sometime! I'll post some of my art here if you guys do!

Not to exclude anyone: If you're not a much for creating art yourself but still appreciate art please feel free to post some of your favorite artists or works instead.

I looked into things before posting and I'm pretty sure this thread is okay, but if it's not for any reason please don't hesitate to move/delete it if necessary. Sorry in advance if it is! ; n;

Three random doodles, I was on a weird streak. Really need to calm down on my GIANT NOSES. D; (I KNOW-- robot headdress possessed dhalsim on the right rofl.)

Picture I was working on but never finished. Lips are a little silly. Should try coloring more often. There's more to it but I dislike the rest so I cropped it down. ; n;

Well, I just took some pain killers and I'm sleepy now, I really hope to see some of your art when I get on tomorrow. <3

(Sorry I suck at inserting images and links, if anyone has a more efficient way for me to do so please tell me, it looks pretty messy as is but I don't know what to doooo.)

I don't mind sharing a few things, if you're interested in starting an art based topic. While i've done some "real" work in acrylics/watercolors and pencil crayons, most of my painting is digital simply because it's more controllable, more compact (everything fits on my desk!) and just a ton easier to clean up.

I admit, I kind of hope some game out there (may it be Guild Wars 2!) gets me jazzed enough to start creating fan art again.

Whoa, glad I stayed on two more minutes to refresh the page. Those are fantastic! And yeah, I've never really tried traditional art aside from sketching-- I don't get to go out much and supplies are expensive. I love my tablet. I've never been much for drawing fan art myself, GW2 might be the game that inspires me to do so, though. I hope to see more art from you and others. Hope this thread picks up~

I've got a wacom tablet myself, a gift from a friend a long time ago. It's gorgeous! The whole "if your house is burning and you only have time to grab one thing..." kind of gorgeous.

and the noses on the characters aren't giant, whatcha worried about? s'MUCH better to exaggerate a feature than to be timid about placement. i sneakily adore hyper-exaggerated figures, for the record.

have you done other works other than head sketches?

Yeah, I have a Wacom bamboo fun. I've been looking at upgrading but I haven't had much luck lately. I want an intuos3, and I found a really nice one (intuos3 6x11 for only $150 ;;). I was all ready to get it and the seller told me he still had it and was willing to go through with it, then I emailed him asking how he wanted to receive payment and he never responded-- Sent another email and he said it was sold. My Christmas is ruinnnned ahhjdfg.

I have one environment, but most are just neck up. I really need to practice doing other things, it's just 99% of the time I draw in paintchat and failing horribly trying new things in a public setting scares me lolol. I need to seclude back to sai painter sometime, but my trial ran out D;

old quickie that I like.

My first time trying painting on the same layer, I think my friend got this one printed on some headphone tags, I was face palming the entire time.

Old Shoddy attempt at an environment. I cropped a third of it out and gave up on it. Originally I wanted to have lights leading into the tunnel and/or a light at the end of the tunnel but that never worked out. Really want to try again sometime, though.

Looking great! Do you feel you've learned much from the class? I've always wanted to take classes but never have, aside from failing one in high school.

Keep 'em coming people! :D
