Tomorrow, the demo for Type-0 will be available for download on the Japanese Playstation Store and (to the delight of many of us outside of Japan) on the official Type-0 website. The demo will be uploaded onto the site between 12:30pm and 1:00pm and make sure to have at least 332MB spare on your memory stick for when you download it.
The demo is an updated version of the ‘Natsubi’ demo shown in Odaiba which showed seven characters and four stages. Square Enix have added a few changes to the downloadable demo, these changes include harder enemies with higher levels and slightly improved camera code.
Also included is summer clothing for all fourteen of Type-0’s characters. These costumes can be worn by the characters during the full version of the game. However, each costume for each individual character has to be found first. So keep an eye out for them as you play through the demo.
Type-0 is released in Japan in October 13 on two UMDs so until then we can try it out for ourselves with this handy demo. Thankfully we don’t have to re-activate our PSPs to our Japanese accounts for this demo.
