Just got my enchanting to 100, so I'd like to know what you guys put on your equipment.

Enchantment(s)!

On my sword and board, I had 40% one-handed enchants on anything that would take them, then magic resistance (20%), then stamina enchants, and something like waterbreathing on my helmet (there aren't any good melee helmet enchants from what I saw).

Sword weapon enchants were Fiery Soul Trap and Fire damage.

The mage put Destruction Magicka cost reduction and elemental resists on everything. Free high level spells is hard to say no to.

I don't remember what I put on my melee character.

As a melee, I loaded up on one-hand damage+%.

I also added one enchantment of fire/shock resist+% each (no need for frost since I'm a Nord) then a total of +60% in magic resist.

Head and body have alteration/restoration spell cost-%.

Main weapon has fire damage and fiery soul trap. Ultimate Sword of Doom has fire/shock damage+31.

To once again point out how broken Enchanting is, I now have a full set of Dragonskin armor (upgraded to Legendary) with the following stats:

Body:
Destruction Spells cost 28% less to cast.
Destruction Spells cost 17% less to cast and Magicka regenerates 10% faster.

Head:
Destruction Spells cost 28% less to cast.
Magicka regenerates 70% faster.

Hands:
One-handed attacks do 45% more damage.
Carrying capacity increased by 42 points.

Boots:
One-handed attacks do 45% more damage.
Carrying capacity increased by 42 points.

Ring:
One-handed attacks do 45% more damage.
Destruction spells cost 28% less to cast

Necklace:
One handed attacks do 45% more damage.
Carrying capacity increased by 42 points.

Daedric Sword (142 base damage):
Absorb 22 points of Health.
If target dies within 11 seconds, fills a soul gem.

I don't recall the exact amount of armor rating per piece, but with the Light Armor perks tree filled, I have over 900 Armor rating. It's takes something serious to even hurt me at this point. Most stuff doesn't live long enough to even put a ding in my armor. I'm level 67 now and Ancient Dragons at that level are just about the only things that I have to be careful around, and even then, I can usually stun lock them by double casting Thunderstorm.

I did find a sword with Paralyze on it and disenchanted it, so I might redo my sword to add that on there. I don't really need the Soul Trap anymore. Somehow, whenever I make a new weapon with two enchantments on it, they don't lose enchantment, no matter how much I use them. I don't know if it's a glitch or if it's some game play mechanic I'm missing.

Since you have 100 enchanting, I'm guessing you picked up the perk that refills 5% of an enchantment every time you kill something, then forgot about it.

I didn't take that perk. I went straight up the middle to get double Enchantment, then moved on.

Some double-enchantments glitch so that they don't drain iirc.

Also for anybody who doesn't follow the steam trhead. Skyrim is on sale for $40.

Also also, does anybody have some good recommendations for mods, graphic or otherwise? I've installed a few but I want moar.

Currently running mods:

skyUI
enhanced night sky
no more blocky faces
detailed faces
enhanced blood

all found on skyrim nexus.

So, after a few days off for christmas, logged in tonight & decided to do a quest near whiterun. Fast traveled over to a closer location with lydia & see a dragon in the opposite direction. Travel over towards it, herding 3 deer on the way. Blood dragon lands & I hack it to death 2 handed. Get new word (disarm).

Continue back towards initial objective, then fast travel to closest location. It's now nightime, & I see something glooey off in the distance. Follow it, see headless horseman. Follow him, & that nasty old dragon I fought with the chick from the blades is tearing up some ****. In the middle of the ****, a dragon made of blones is crawling towards the other dragon. So I kill it.

COntinue back to original objective, find cave. Kill legion of vampires. Full capacity, back to whiterun to unload, about 25% progress made from fast travel point towards original objective.

A.D.D. thy name is skyrim.

I prefer the anti-spider mod where they just replaced all the spider graphics with bears. Was awesome to see BEAR BLASTING.

man this game is addicting, at first i was a kinda throw my points everywhere. But I made a new character as a dedicated thief/assassin. I gotta say it is addicting waiting for that perfect time to strike, be it a pickpocket, a stealing act, a sniper shot or a backstab, man it awesome. Also I now hate Skyrim, It has taken over my PS3.

I got the blackswordsman's armor & dragnslayer mods, so my RPing as Guts from Berserk is now form fitting.

I didn't care about "gibbing" when Mazra was ******** about it earlier in the thread, but I now want my sword swings to include flying appendage animations.

I'm sure they'll be a mod for that shortly.

One of these days, I'll go back to Skyrim. "One of these days" translating to "when it's possible to play, with the fact that the latest patch pretty much broke my game." I'm one of the players who had a temporary fix to the lag, which someone returned way worse than ever later on. So until they release a patch to fix it, I can't really play.

Fortunately, I have TOR.
