Help with Icewind Dale ModsFollow

#1 Sep 16 2012 at 3:06 AM Rating: Good
Hello,

Since I recently (earlier today) splurged on Icewind Dale I and II along with Baldur's Gate I and II, I need some mods to make the older games "better".

From the Let's Play of the Big World Project over at the somethingawful forums, I'm pretty well set for Baldur's Gate I and II as far as which mods to use.

Unfortunately, I haven't found many resources for Icewind Dale, which I remember as a great game and I'd like to play in a newer ruleset.

Anyone has a list of mods, or a link to a discussion thread where they talk about the good/bad of particular mods, especially the ones which might combine IWD I and II together (like the Big World Project for BG), upgrade the ruleset for IWD I to the 3rd or higher edition, or other additional quests/NPCs worth getting?

Thanks in advance,
Dan.

I haven't played IWD, but the tactics and ascension mods for BG2 give a great challenge.

Check the GoG forums. It's where I found mods for Planescape:Torment

Thanks, I found some mods on the GoG forums, but the one that changes the ruleset requires BG2 to be installed, so I'm doing without at the moment.
