Hey all !!!
I just got a Defiance closed beta key from Zam. I went to Trion Account Mgt. and selected "Apply Code". I entered the code and clicked the "Apply" button, and it came back and said "Code was applied to your account", and it was displayed at the bottom. But I'm not sure what I am supposed to do now. Normally, I would download the current client and jump in the beta, but I can't find any place to do that. I went to the Defiance web site, and it said "Beta Event 1: Jan. 18-20". If the beta isn't until next weekend, why are ZAM and Trion giving out beta codes now?
I'm confused. Sorry to seem like a dummy, but if there is a beta event going on *now*, I don't wanna miss it.

Never ask for permission when you can beg forgiveness later!!
So people can access the beta as quickly as possible. You'll just have to wait until next weekend to play.

There "might" of been a 2 hour event last night (Don't remember if it was NDA protected) But ya its there, sit and wait for the email with further instructions as the next event gets closer.

Is there a public client download yet? I cant seem to find one.
Probably not, since the Alpha and Beta clients will be vastly different.

I just can't login to their damn site to apply the key. I can login fine with my Trion Worlds account to Rift, but the damn Defiance web-site doesn't let me in...

just go to: https://defiancebeta.trionworlds.com/commerce/voucher/redeem-voucher-flow
and enter the key there. if it doenst work. Just replace "defiancebeta" with "rift" in the link.
