Joph get back on your computer and play Q.U.B.E and Zombie Driver HD. I don't care if they aren't in your collection, stop half-assing your A-B-Cs. Smiley: mad

There's precedent. The Alphabet game allows q and z to be skipped.

Because I'm a glutton for punishment, I booted up Demon's Souls for the first time in a long time last night. It holds up very well, though Dark Souls really improved on a ton of stuff. Parrying and backstabbing in Dark Souls are vastly easier than in Demon's, and I really prefer the healing and magic systems in Dark Souls to those in Demon's Souls. I'd like to get through the game, since I never did complete it. There seem to be quite a few people still playing it, probably since it was on PS+ last year. I'm not quite sure what kind of character I want to play just yet.

Oh, I guess I'll get back to my other games at some point. I still need to finish Metal Gear Rising, for one.

I got as far as ******** King Allant before getting bored of my last play through. Everything else was easier than I remember, but I can't seem to avoid his level drains.

Play as a Royal, you get Magic Missile Soul Arrow at the start, and can use it to cheap snipe a bunch of the bosses.

Looking at my trophies, I apparently only ever killed 4 or 5 bosses. I have the trophy for killing the Old King, but I assume that was a glitch.

Disappointment setting in on MGR Revengerencerdes. Starts off so hot, OMG this looks rad, cyber ninjers and male the bride who wore white mercs. Slappin around a few normal mobs, yup seems cool. Boy this is a lot of cut scenes. Man I am not really in control of my character again... Oh wait I have control now, but the rules are all changed and nothing works except for the obscure rules of this run down the building scene.

Ok, Ok I can forgive that. After another 10 minute cut scene I now have a new corridor to ninjer slash some baddies in. Oh hey a chainsaw cyber dog.

PREPARE TO FIGHT! The camera.

You just get knocked silly into the wall wall of the sh*tty corridor where the camera makes doing your cyber ninja thing a repeat of running away from the bad camera before getting knocked into the bad camera walls. Skillz. I can parry it's wild twitch spaz knock around moveset sometimes and get free sword mode goodness but then the camera pans up during my swings and stops hitting him. Sweet.

I'm sure I will patiently sweat my way through it tomorrow, but I feel a slog setting in. I think I'm spoiled by the precise non spaz controls of Dark Souls now. Other schemes often seem inferior.

You can lock onto enemies in MGR by clicking in one of the thumbsticks like in DS, if I'm remembering right (haven't played in a week or so). Other than that, the camera has some issues, but I personally haven't had a lot of trouble with it.

Lock on is left thumbstick click, and don't bother with custom slicing for Blade Mode unless you're trying to cut off a special target like a hand.

I swear I tried that and was left thinking, "Is there no lock on?" Smiley: blush With out actually bothering to look at the controls menu. But I was a bit tired and cranky last night. I'll give it a another go later tonight.

Yeah, unfortunately, Elder Scrolls Oblivion made me feel motion sick. That's one of the reasons I held off on Skyrim for so long. Wasn't keen on paying 60 for a game I might not be able to play. Thankfully it doesn't have the same problem. I still chugged through a bunch of oblivion but boyo its a lot less fun when it makes you feel utterly ill.

Any FPS with a FOV below 75 degrees makes me nauseous, and head bobbing by itself is enough to get me going. Yes, we know that people's head move while they're walking, but we have other bodily functions to compensate for it. Kind of hard to compensate for an image on a screen.
