A little help for the traveling is to use the teleporters and that you can use the "Unstuck" option to get a free teleport to the nearest town once every half hour.
Too much talking about tera and too many pictures of skimpy costumes... so anyway I downloaded it.
The "go talk to so-and-so" back and forth stuff seemed a little overdone, and some of the voice acting makes me cringe. Mystic pet looks goofy, but he can sure take a pounding. I liked the blocking with the shield on the lancer. I have a horse now, so I might have to stick with this a little while.
That's the best perk of being a founder, I have a horse at level 1 when I start on "Noob Island"
You know since I started this thread I havent even played again, been playing to much Warframe, and other FPS's. Im still like a 12-14 warrior lol. Now I almost feel I have to play agian cuase everyone else is. Way to go peer-pressure
I'm finishing up Ni No Kuni (reached the end and took a side track to do all the side quests and such). And I got Tales of Graces f and forgot just how much I enjoyed Tales games.
I really enjoy the character interactions at the end of the battles
I think my favorite one from Vesperia was when Estelle tries to mimic Yuri and get Repede to cheer with her after battle, and instead he just kind of ignores her and whines. It's been too long since I've played the others, it's a shame that all of them don't make it state side. Though I think the heavy dialog, and voice acting, in the game probably makes it hard for them to do so and be profitable. At least fan projects exist, Tales of Innocence (DS) made it through a very good fan job. Tales of Hearts (Also DS) is being worked on, but is very far out.
Yeah I Saw you playing it, I've beat it once so far. To get plat on the game you have to beat it like 4? times or something stupid, not a fan of that. Tales of Xillia is coming out soon for PS3 looking forward to that. I really did like Tales of Graces F thought, the changes to the combat were a good evolution to Tales of the Abyss IMHO (Been playing it off an on on my 3DS, beat it 2 times on my PS2) I wish they would release digital PS2 classics of those on PSN.
As for Ni No Kuni, I stalled, I don't know the end yet and havent spoiled it but its a Ghibli and I have a feeling the end isnt going to be what I want it to be. I think Im in the last 3/4 of the game but havent looked up anything to see am exact place.
My ID on everything is idiggory. I'm rarely playing online games on the PS3, though. Well, I haven't been playing many games in general, only a small percentage of those are on the PS3, and that percentage is Skyrim.

Following a rousing debate with gbaji last night, my self-loathing was at just the right intensity to jump on my Elin. After 10-15 minutes however my normal senses started returning and it was time to watch John Stewart.
I got out to Lumberwood on my new Castranic Lancer on the PvP server. That **** was crazy! It's hard getting used to everyone being red. Naturally I got ganked a couple times by some absurdly high levels for the zone, but i also had 1 decent equal level battle. Ofc it was after I had accidentally aggrod 3 centaurs that the stupid little Elin attacked me.

Sounds to me like the little Elin may not have been as stupid as all that.....
I'm rolled on a pve server. It would be interesting to see how these positional-based combat mechanics would be in pvping. I imagine it to be harder than the standard targeting mechanic I'm used to. I'd probably suck at it.
Oh yeah, she ended up coming out of the battle with little to no damage. I had no idea what was going on, not to mention I hadn't visited the trainer in 4 levels.
It will take a few more gankings for me to switch the pvp mentality back on and be a little more agressive. The only guy I attacked last night was this guy 10 levels higher than me who dismounted right in front of me (i assumed he was going to kill me). I laid in to him best I could, did no damage, and he just walked right past me to mine his ore that he wanted... lmao
Some interesting things I've picked up regarding PvP. There are, I think, 10 channels on the server, so that if you feel you are being treated unfairly in some way you can switch your channel and carry on with a different population. Pretty cool feature if you ever get corpse camped by somebody's butthurt main.
There are all sorts of politics with the zones, where guilds can control zones and implement taxes for the npc vendors, or control whether or not certain vendors exist, or if pvp is even turned on. So this in theory will encourage world PvP (which is what the people want).
I had no idea what was going on, not to mention I hadn't visited the trainer in 4 levels.
Not the only one, last night it was me saying: "I swear things are taking a long time to kill!"
Also loving the mystic's teleport. Bound it to right click and it's a much nicer way to get out of the bad than my previous strategy of throwing my hands up and screaming as I ran in circles hoping my pet would grab aggro back.

I'll load up Tera agian one day I swear, but now Im on this Tribes: Ascend kick. The game can be frustrating but when you do something and it works you just feel like a total BA. I havent paid for it still doing the F2P model.
Was playing a Pathfinder, built up some nice speed, (close to max; 180+) zoomed in and grabbed flag between 2 people , zig zaged out and was heading back to my base (Still going almost full speed). Enemy player had grabbed our flag and was coming in from my front, jumped off a hill, and hit him mid air killing him (Blue plate special) proceeded to grab our flag in mid air and zoomed back for cap. Never slowing down once.
And I've had a few other experiences like that. The thing I know its not all skill and takes a bit of luck but still after you do something like that you just get a bit of an adrenaline rush.
