February 3 is the end of Season 1

I'm not sure if a date has been yet set for when season 2 begins.

So you have a few hours to grind out 70 and get the transmog items that come with that. I believe all the gear etc you have earned just crosses over and your season 1 character is now just "regular" sharing those items with the rest of your characters.

I didn't see anything in the link, but any word on when Ancient Items will be implemented?

I'm kind of kicking myself.

I have multiple level 70 characters, but I never grew one in Seasons.

I'd been seeing the 'season ending' message for a few days, but didn't read up on it until yesterday and learned there'd be some 'stuff' obtainable only by completing the season.

I started a character in Season play last night. I only got her to 21. I'll not make it to 70. Smiley: frown

I drift back to this game every once in a while, but I inevitably get bored/angry with it and quit again once I reach a certain gear plateau (generally around T3/T4).

I'll probably level a Season 2 toon to 70 for funsies.

People...play non-season characters? I've not played in months, but have not played my non-season characters in a year or so.

As for getting to 70, just ask in general chat if someone is willing to PL you to 70, just so you can get the goodies. I'm betting someone will for free, and it only takes like 40min in T6.

I'm about at the same place.

I'm still getting some mileage out of the game, but it's slowing down. Good time for some new content i guess.

I'll do a season character probably when the next one starts...maybe a Barbarian.

My cubicle neighbour coworker also plays Diablo, and there was much confusion when I was telling him about my season 2 adventure. It turns out he has the game on Playstation, and the console versions do not have the Ladder/Season options, instead they get a "Nemesis" feature that we on PC do not get.

Nemesis is pretty cool, actually. Maybe not as cool as seasons, though.

I decided to not participate in Season 2. If I were to start a new character, it would be a Crusader, but I already have a Crusader, and I don't see the point in leveling up another. Besides, I enjoy finally having some gear that allows me to farm the higher torment ranks.

Every single guide is telling me to get Akkhan for Akarat's Champion, but I hate that ability, and I hate the CDR focused builds. I'm rolling with 58% lightning damage, +10% damage on my shield, +10% damage from my passive, 40% crit chance, 450% crit damage, and decent toughness. I could probably do T6 if I enjoyed kiting, but I don't, so I'm face-tanking T4 instead. I'm not in a hurry, and Kadala hates me, so there's no point in trying to rush the drops.

I'm just having fun blasting everything with blue and gold lightning while looking darn sexually attractive in my transmog.

I started a witch doctor on a whim, and two days later I was accidentally level 70, plevel 30, with two pieces of Jade's, a Jordan, and a Wormwood. I've already cleared a higher GRift than my main (monk) ever could.

I'm wondering why I never gave WD a chance, because holy **** these DoT builds are fun.

I've been pleasantly surprised with the wizard I have been playing, No where near as squishy as I thought they would be. I can run into some pretty large packs, ice armor on, wave of force, and disentagration beam everything in sight to itty bitty pieces.

Got to play some this weekend, I'm lvl 70 now on my monk, Paragon ~45ish with Gungdo Gear and 1 piece of Inna's. Mostly running Act I on T2/3 hoping for a RoRG, and splicing in some Rifts / GRifts to mix it up. Overall I am having fun even though I already had a 70 monk (which has now been very outclassed), though I haven't quite found a build that I 100% love yet. Current is pretty fun though as a lightning based build using Schaefer's Hammer. Just need to get a socket on one of my jewelry pieces so I can use my Lightning based epic gem...

zDPS monks are hella strong right now.

I'm running a crusader around plvl 50, just grinding out T1 rifts until I can get enough Roland's or Akkahn's pieces to make a decent build. I'd love to try out the new Condemn builds, but can't find the shield. Ditto for the Captain America builds and the flail that removes wrath cost from Blessed Shield (can't recall the name off the top of my head).

Blizz testing out Diablo III micro-transactions in Asia. Cosmetic items and level boosts for now, from the sound of it.

Blink and you miss it, Season 2 is ending already on April 5th.

I hope they all are not going to be this short. Between Wow, D3, and Hearthstone, and that life thing...I can't keep up!

I hear the graphics suck most of the time on that last one. Occasionally great visuals spread out among a whole lot of boring crap.

Got my S2 Crusader into T3-T4 range and again hit a gear ceiling. Got bored, went back to Rift (and lately Warframe, although I'm still not sure if I like it or not).

Won't be playing S3.

I had hit a bit of a wall in T4, then changed my tactics to go down in difficulty and run rifts/bounties faster rather than trying to complete at the highest difficulty possible. So far seems to have yielded better results.

Also, wizards Black Hole spell is a lot of fun; coupled with 4 mirror images and insane reduced cool down times = lots of mobs flailing helplessly towards them while you blast the crap out of everything with Disentegration beam.

edit: the "build" so far. Not having much luck getting any matching set gear so far. The only Tal Rasha I have is from level 42.

I hit the wall in s2. Then I was invited to a t6 run as a guildie was farming for mats. In 30min my monk went from "blah" to "sweet" lol.
This is him now. Basically got the gear I wanted. Once season is over, my Monk(s) will have options for many different builds.
