Earthbound BeginningsFollow

Mother 1 is coming out today (In about 2 hours I think) on the NA Nintendo Wii U Store, as "Earthbound Beginnings".

I never played Mother 1. Apparently it was officially translated but never released. Now they are releasing it on the Wii U store. I played Earthbound on the SNES, as I traded my friend a copy of FF Tactics for it. I still have the cartridge I think, in one of my closets somewhere.

Earthbound was fun, if a bit dated and clunky on the controls. I picked it up on the Wii U shop shorty after purchasing my Wii U. While I enjoy it, the menu system could be better. I'm not sure what to expect with Mother 1, but will probably pick it up anyway. I am wondering if Mother 3 will come out as well, but won't hold my breath on that one.

I remember the scratch & sniff cards that came with the SNES release. That was a weird marketing campaign. I wouldn't put the Mother games in my Top Ten list, but I've played far far worse.
