As a relatively newcomer to FFXIV, On my journey from the capital city of Ul'dah to the second encampment known as "Camp Drybone".
The populace within the server known as "Gysahls" seems to exhibit the following
Exaggerated Viewpoints:
1.--> Most players i met/saw are more likely well versed in the language of Japanese than (insert your language)
In addition, emoticons are widely used by players more often then exchanging words..
2.-->Occasionally, while exploring the exotic wonders of Ul'dah . Lalafells Conjurers bestow
buffs ranging from "Protect" to "Shock Spikes".
3.-->Back in the capital city, traders unanimously organised themselves near certain Npc's or iconic structures..
4.-->Other than japanese conversations struck between fellow tomodachi or nakama due to similar linkshells, both in
"Say" & "Shout" tabs. No other conversation are struck between other players.
5.-->Based on my initial findings, i have procure a hypothesis , English speakers are definately in Gysahls.
6.-->I suppose in terms of relativity in MMO-speak, i missed the days where strangers would become nakama
after being out-numbered by mobs, or KS-ing each other kills till the point of conversation..
7.-->NPC's tend to talk more in average than players that i saw/met*
Feel free to share your comments on Gysahls , perhaps what i saw wasn't really what you see..
