Besaid Server ???Follow

I just got FFXIV. I have a friend that says she plays on Besaid server, but when i create a character it ask's me to choose a world and Besaid is not on the list. Is the server closed or merged? and if so with which server.

Nevermind i see it was merged with Fabul and is now called Balmung
