[NA Gilgamesh] Modified FC LF Turn5 RaidersFollow

Modified (Gligamesh NA Non-Legacy) is seeking new raiders to be part of our 2nd and 3rd 8-man groups, as well as other exceptional players to bolster our roster. At the moment we are the furthest progressed raiding FC on Gilgamesh, with 3 groups on Turn 5. Our 1st group was World 2nd on Turn 4 and have achieved the Server First Turn 5 kill. Our 2nd group has also been working on Turn 5 for about 5 weeks and our 3rd group is beginning work on Turn 5. We plan on obliterating Crystal Tower upon the release of 2.1, and we need a few more solid people to do that. Although player skill is very important to us, it’s even more important that our groups mesh well together, as we feel that this is essential to the FC’s longevity. Overall we’re an easygoing bunch and you will see plenty of members hanging out in mumble at any given time. No, like seriously. Some of our guys are nocturnal.

Unfortunately, the honeymoon phase of FFXIV: ARR is coming to a close. We’ve had a few core members decide to step away from raiding while we await patch 2.1’s content. Thus, we hope to recruit people that are enthusiastic about the game (like many of us are!) and plan to play XIV for the long haul. We have players of all types in the FC. Hardcore raiders to casuals, completionists, crafters, and achievement whores—we’ve got ‘em all. We are a more mature FC (with maybe a few manchildren), mostly college aged and up. While we all like to have a good time, during raid time we’re there to get sh*t done. If you enjoy stirring the sh*tpot or being toxic, we are not the FC for you.

Potential applicants should be aware that our raid times are 8:00pm – 12:00am EST, M-Th. These raid times are subject to change as content becomes trivial and we slowly and carefully insert our thumbs in our butts waiting for 2.1. We will expect you to be open to constructive criticism and always be looking for ways to improve your gameplay and communication - so please, know your job, bring food buffs, be repaired, know the encounters, and be smart! You get the idea. Applicants should have the appropriate sub jobs leveled and ideally have up to Turn 5 experience

1 Black Mage or Summoner or Bard
1 Paladin


We are also always looking for exceptional players. There is still plenty of time before 2.1 and groups will undoubtedly be adjusted. Nothing is set in stone and there are spots available in 24-mans for the people that earn them.
