That is pretty freaking awesome. I am in a straight PvP resto spec though and its gonna have to stay that way for now lest my arena team beats me up. I think I've maxed out at 1100 single target dps in said resto spec tho which isn't too shabby seeing as I have grouped with straight dps that pull less. And on trash groups I usually wreck the under geared dps with Hurricane.

The trick it seems to me right now is I'm using the 2t9 balance set for haste and the moonfire crits, that paired with the moonfire glyph I'm able to push out 1500 damage tics.
Also I've spec'd for double damage on my crits, which helps tremendously, it's what was able to raise me up past the 1100-1200 dps hump.
I'm still trying to get as much haste as humanly possible, which might lead me to switching to starfire as my main nuke.

That he does! Festergut is a pretty easy fight but Professor Putricide is a pain in the *** :(
Second (first night we had one or two goes) night of trying on 10 man we got him down after three or four wipes :) Worst thing was that I was offtank and on kiting duties :(
Trick is to save heroism for when he reaches 30% because that is when everyone seems to be running round with little slimes (due to the fight having the same timer as 25 man) and it gets messy and that isn't just the extra slime patches everywhere :)

Rotface was a bit chaotic but not that hard.
Festergut was actually nice to have an enrage timer you need to keep in mind. (although I did run with the B squad 25 man where slackers were pulling less than 7k dps)

Yeah I have to say I kind of prefer the hard enrage/wipe everyone instantly over this OH JESUS **** WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON that happens with a "soft enrage" like Rotface's mutagen. Less stressful in the home stretch.

I'm happy we can finally do H HoR as a guild now, and I can stop using the dungeon finder. *sigh* That was a long time coming.

I was away last week so I missed my guilds first downing of Fester & Rot (and several wipes on Putricide) and still have not beaten them yet as the server lag boss >>> my guild. Instant cast heals took anything up to 5 secs to go off and it was an amazing effort for us to clear the first 4 bosses, but the new bosses were just not going to happen. Hopefully tonight will be better.
On a positive note I know have a Deathbringer's Will to go with my heroic Death's Choice so I am no longer rocking with my iLvl200 Grim Toll!!

Got a trophy tonight in a ToC25 run.
New tank legs was an easy choice as the chest I have is good and will be switching to T10 hands and shoulders in a day or 2.
I managed to log in my DPS gear as I was tanking heroics. clicky
Should I switch to 2T9? I have only the head but the legs I have are better than the 232 tier piece. Is the 2 piece bonus that good from T9?
Well even the the question is moot as I will have 4T9 for DPS when I swap the shoulders and hands as well. As I am assuming +5% crit on Rip is worth the switch.
Getting opinions before I spend time tomorrow playing with RAWR.
Also pushing 60% crit in a 25 man raid is HAWT.

Rawr has so far been telling me that unless I have 258 T9 gear, 2t8+2t9 is a much better option.
