My bank alt is a gnome with white hair, a glorious mustache and he wears only the pink panda bear tabard.

Also my boyfriend.

I have dreams like those as well, except, mine are all about me.

Did have an awkward dream about... well, this. Funny enough the dream was about me replying to a topic on the Druid forum about dreams. I don't believe in premonition and crap (it's just brain hiccups forcing it to reload old material), but when I woke up this morning I could've sworn I'd just dreamt this exact thing. And I haven't been on a computer since Friday, so that's scary.

I had a bank-alt but had to delete him to make a DK. Why can't they give me 11 toons on a server so I can have one of each class AND a bank alt! Smiley: motz

That is actually a fair argument.

I never have this problem because I don't play melee classes, so I end up with 7 characters, a bank alt, an extra priest and two free slots I use for a rogue I never play or something like that. I actually haven't even made the extra priest on Kazzak yet.

Horse, bow to my transparent UI!
Screenshot

Needs a bit of tweaking, especially with borders and toying with opacity but otherwise I like this.

What's up with you guys and that minimalist fetish you've got going?

Why not just press Alt-Z and be done with it?

One of my guildies vote-kicked her first DPS this weekend. He was over-geared, running ahead and pulling stuff, bad-mouthing the group, and not waiting for anyone. She waited till they were almost to the last boss to do it.

I'm remembering some line about a woman scorned...

Because that isn't as rewarding.

Also, seeing everything without having too much of your vision blocked rocks.

Because, regardless of my insane skills, I still need to see some vital information on my screen.

I'd totally play with Alt+Z if I could do it without hurting my performance.

You need more alts. Smiley: nod

Agreed. Don't get me wrong, I don't like this, but I'm an addon ***** and I need to get them all! All of them! With 83 addons running, there's little room for minimalism.

What are the four boxes with your health for?

Nice UI though.

The UI Maz linked makes me want to punch babies.

I`m a huge fan of Pitbull. I`m really used to it, make things a lot easier. Plus Dominos. Plus Elk`s Buffs Bar. Those are the main addons I use.

Mazra!

While I'm sure you've been told how to organise your UI a million times, 3 quick steps would turn that into a very manageable look.

1. Grid, to get rid of the god-awful Blizz raid frames.
2. Dominoes, even if you simply made some of those extra bars at the side fade when you didn't need them.
3. Click blizz's option in the interface menu (somewhere, I forget where) to hide the party panels in raids.

Just that would fix everything.

I was going to just smile and move on, but that UI reminds me too much of mine when I finally got fed up and started modifting. I got fed up because I realised I couldn't see the flame walls coming...

Smiley: lol That's not my UI, by god. It's just an example of a horrible UI I found.

My UI is somewhat different.

Wait, you're using a pre-made UI? It'll be missing all the love you put into it. And even if people say mine looks lifeless, it's full of love like a self baked cake.

I was wondering why everything I thought I knew about the world was tumbling down around my head.

Edit: Also, I noticed that for some reason Horse's rating for the first post of this thread (and therefore the whole thread) was good.

That was unacceptable.

Everybody, welcome to our new 'officially excellent' thread.

My guild is in a rough state.

I almost want to go back to Uld as ToC pales into comparison for learning raid mechanics.

ToC is a gear pinata compared to Uld where you need skill to get far, especially when you consider hard modes. Hell the Keepers are harder than Anub.

I think ToC was the worst thing Blizz ever did for raiding. A PuGable no skill raid. Frack, has Bode corrupted me?

No, you are right. Once they nerfed faction champs the place became faceroll and the DPS requirement overall isn't as high as it should have been. TOGC is more fun (we finally downed that the other night once we got the kiting sorted on Anub's phase 2) and a challenge!

Ulduar HM's are probably the most fun I have had while raiding in WOTLK. God damn mimi was a pain in the backside to get down but we got there in the end. Algalon is challenging but a really cool fight and hopefully we will get him down tonight.

Edit: I forgot to say.....while we are never going to be world's (or server...I am a realist) first on anything our progression is mainly in 10 man (the team I am in) as it seems that once we try 25 man we fail miserably. Too many people who don't understand that they need to go beyond just nuking the boss.

Graylo is reporting in his blog that 4T10 moonkin is bugged. The proc has 75% chance to be resisted.
