Yeah, well, the art industry is pretty much outside my scope of reference as well.
But when we're talking something like paintings, you can sort of understand the high pricing, since anyone you'd buy for a high price is pretty guaranteed to be an actual investment. I see it almost as a bond you can hang in your house.
I mean, I do appreciate the ART stuff, but I can't comprehend actually spending that much money on something with no practical value.
So when we start talking about commercial art, which has a high chance to depreciate in value, it's just confusing.
