Stats for the rogueFollow

#1 Nov 14 2004 at 10:04 PM Rating: Decent
Each stat is impartant to every class, and none should be sacrificed i will list here a little sample of what each stat does for the rogue and i will rank these in order of importance

STRENGTH: (3) Determines the Amount of damage done per hit and also helps to break through an opponents armor

AGILITY: (1) By far the mostimportant stat, it makes up for the lack of armor rogues can wear (leather is the max armor) it increases the Subtlety skill and all things related to it (sneak, vanish, pickpocket) 2 agi = 1 subtlety skill

STAMINA: (2) Increases the amount of health and energy the rogue has, (i believe it's every 1 STA=5 hp/energy)

INTELLEGENCE: (4) Not overly important but it help raise skills, all skills including crafts combat, everything

SPIRIT: (5) Not too sure about this, but I believe it improves the defense vs magic spells, AKA it determines your base magic defense (I play a troll, which has high stamina and I very rarely have to worry about spell dmg)

Some of your information is good, but some of it is bunk.

"STAMINA: (2) Increases the amount of health and energy the rogue has, (i believe it's every 1 STA=5 hp/energy)"

This is flat-out wrong. Rogues have a set maximum of energy that never increases. You can fiddle with your stats all you want, but you will never increase a Rogue's maximum energy unless you buy the talent that does so (I believe it's called "Vigor").

"INTELLEGENCE: (4) Not overly important but it help raise skills, all skills including crafts combat, everything"

This is wrong. They removed that functionality a few patches ago. Upping your skills is entirely dependent on difficulty.

"SPIRIT: (5) Not too sure about this, but I believe it improves the defense vs magic spells, AKA it determines your base magic defense (I play a troll, which has high stamina and I very rarely have to worry about spell dmg)"

This is incorrect. Spirit increases your HP and mana regeneration (except that Rogues don't have mana; it does NOT increase energy regen). It has nothing to do with Resists, which are their own category.
