Which stats are most important for Paladin.

I'd put the following priority but that's just me

Strength and Stamina first (more damage and HP)

Intelligence and Agility (more mana and more crits/evasion)

Spirit I'd put last although not a bad stat to boost as it boosts your hp/mp regen.

Not sure if anyone is still reading these.

Buy i put them in this order,

-Stamina

-Strength-Spirit

-Intelligence-Agility

Paladin are required to be active at all time fighting and healing at the same time. Strength can be accented through buffs that the paladin has. Spirit is required so that the Paladin can keep his reserves always as high as possible for multi-tasking.

As much as I like spirit the paladin has his own healing and blessing of wisdom, spirit doesn't seem to be so big an issue.

That said I'd go with

Sta - HP keep you alive, a living paladin is always a dangerous enemy
Str - Allows you to kill faster, killing = leveling
Dex - Armor and crit chance, always nice
Int - Never want to run out of mana for heals, for the most part the paladin never runs out of mana if he's doing serious healing though

You know it really depends on what talents you're going to be focusing on. The one certain thing should be stamina. Paladins are designed to absorb hits, stamina = hp = no brainer. If however you want to head mainly down the holy tree trail, I might suggest Int over Str, because Holy the the more spell intensive side of the class. Protection is an oddball because if you choose to go for Holy Sheild it will eat through your mana. On the other hand Str directly influences the amount of damage reduced by a sheild's block. I'd say retribution is also a bit of a tossup, becuase if you're going for a 2 handed weapon you want the str for added damage output. Then again that output might be a moot point and you might find yourself wanting for mana in some situations.

Try to get a feel for your play style however you break your talents down. If you find yourself using multiple Seals and Spells often then I'd focus on Int and Spirit. However, if you get by well enough that mana isn't usually an issue then by all means Str+Agi. If you think you're hitting the middle I'd then say Int+Str. This is of course all after you take into account the almighty Stamina.
