Black Cat w/ White Stripes

I've started many classes, including a hunter, and now I'm going back to a hunter. SO my fav pet is that back cat with the white tiger stripes. I've seen at least 10 people with it. Does any1 know what I'm talking about? Is it a special/unique cat, and where can I find this particular kind of cat?

That's a nightsaber. Most people who have them are Night Elves who got them early and just kept them. I can't think of anywhere outside of Teldrassil and Darkshore that you can get one off the top of my head, but I'm sure there's somewhere. You can eventually get owls elsewhere, so I assume there are sabers elsewhere...just the same, a cat is a cat for the mostpart, and there are PLENTY of cats in the game.

I tamed an Elder Nightsaber for my first pet, which was black with grey stripes. Then I got to Auberdine and tamed a Runt Moonstalker which is black with white stripes and I am sticking with him. Hope that helps.

I tamed a nightsaber as my first pet...It was only at lv 5 but each time it lved up i got more training points for it...so having a weak pet to start ut with is rewarding...easier to train i think!
