Since I have a lot of free time on my hands(thanks 4 hour patches to 12 hour Download patches!), I was wondering how the more experienced Hunters use the See through the beast eyes skill( don't remember what it is specifically called) to scout?
U send in pet and let the pet get killed to scout?
that seems so...wrong!

No, your pet can avoid aggro especially aginst beasts using the cower ability. Cast your Beast Eyes and activate the highest cower level (renew as necessary) to scout out areas and then return to you.
