FOR DAYS NOW, ALL I CAN READ IN THE WARRIOR FORUM IS HOW WE HAVE BEEN NERFED FROM THE TIP OF OUR SWORDS, STILL STAINED WITH THE BLOOD OF OUR ENEMIES WHOSE THROATS WE HAVE SLICED OPEN BEFORE, TO THE BOTTOM OF OUR PLATE BOOTS, STILL FRESH WITH THE CRAP LEFT FROM WHEN WE SHOVED IT UP OUR ENEMY'S A-HOLES!

NO OTHER CLASS HAVE I SEEN WITH SUCH NERFS...AND I SEE A REASON FOR IT.

Regarding the point of the original post: It's not *that* horrible. We have to work harder to achieve similar results. But we CAN do it.

When I fight classes that can't fear me I use zerker rage anyway for the increased rage on taking dmg. Helps slightly.

At frist I was getting my *** kicked by all classes, now I'm doing better. Okay I'm not the top of the kill list in every battle any more and I do get killed in 1 on 1 fights a bit but... I still do okay.

Ive been trying a weird build... DW Arms. Arms just screams PvP but 2h doesnt give enough rage. Fury got its main tree-defining ability nerfed with the rage nerf, so it will be like you were just swinging (killing the whole point of Fury), so both 2h and DW Fury are out. There is no way in hell im going back to Prot (but i hear it works well in organized group PvP). The only thing left is DW Arms, which seems kinda weird.

Right now MS and Bloodthirst do about the same damage for me with a 1h. I am in mostly blues (some pieces of valor + high end instance blues) with a few epics (ZG belt + bracers and Heroism gloves). It has actually been working decently. Some warrior with similar looking gear got the jump on me and i was beating the crap out of him (5-10 min ago). I had him at about 15% health and I had over 50% when a damn mage shows up :(. I was doing good against locks and mages too.

With this build i basically just spam anything and everything. It gives so much rage its rediculous. I can hit MS and WW every time theyre up along with hamstrings (can spam for Imp Hamstring proc if i need it) rends battle/demo shouts intimidating shouts heroic strikes, w/e.

I was initially going to go with maces, but Blizzard decided they hadnt nerfed us enough a week after the patch(well the proc rates were a bit high i gotta admit).

My build is something like this (some of the fist 2 tier arms talents may be a tad different, theyre not all that important and i dont wanna log in right now just to check)

My weapons are not that great. I have that skinning sword from ZG (i know its embarrasing >< but its the best thing i have available ATM. i didnt run ZG enough to get warblades or defender and PuGs on my server rarely ever happen. im gonna get r14 weapons soon though :) ) and assassination blade for the crit in the OH. Obviously you would get better results with better weapons than mine and armor, and my results werent bad, so you might wanna give this a try.




Oh yea, and if i hadnt spent all my money i would move some points out of unbridled wrath and put them in TM, and possibly take out the rest of the points and put them elsewhere. Unbridled wrath is just overkill, especially if you have better gear than mine.

One question though: do Sword Spec procs give rage or is it normalized?

HELL Yea....Warriors are the Backbone in this game. If it wasnt for us the other classes would still br trying to protect themselves from some lvl 5 mob....Either way we are the Muscle and soul of this game. We are the Champions and we should not be taken so lightly... We will arise a Band of Warriors and show EVERYONE that we are the #1 Class and that we should be FEARED.

I am actually enjoying this thread so I'll add some junk of my own. I went from lvl 1 to tanking MC in 3 weeks. I was Arms/fury until 60 and I still have my Kang in my bank. Prot specced at 60, then once this last patch hit I went 34 points in fury, 2 or 3 in prot, rest in arms. With my tanking gear on including shield I have about 12% crit now which is fairly crappy imo. I have the Spineshatterer MH, GM swiftblade OH, and Drillborer disk shield. 4/8 Might, 2/8 Wrath.

Rogues are great fun! I put on my shield and usually just overpower them to death with about 5k HP to spare. Two rogues at once is fun too. Even in GM gear they just can't hit through 9k armor very well.

Hunters are equally fun! ARcane shot hurts sure, but nothing else does. Traps are retardedly easy to see nowadays, especially since I was good at avoiding the old (invisable) kind. Shields up! Hamstring and keep on them. sure they will scatter shot you but big deal! AImed shot crits for less than 1k against that much armor so just tag them again and slowly make them cry.

On of my finest moments was in an AV protecting IB gy. I got rushed by a mage, hunter and rogue! Enrage was triggered and managed to get 3 crits on the mage instantly (including execute), then just kited the rogue into the hunter so he could not shoot me from afar. Obviously a hunter has trouble CCing a warrior with a crazed rogue on him too! They were unlucky (and perhaps really crappy players) and I was very lucky!

Warlocks, shadow priests and mages(usually) still destroy me. even with 6k HP those undead locks from Mal'ganis can kill me in 2 dots though I may kill the warlock before I die too. Shadow priests are just a lost cause for me still. If I don't have a full rage bar when I charge them I don't even kill their shield. :(

Shaman just die, I guess they got nerfed hard because they've never been this easy to kill.

Either way, I still love my warrior. 8)

kazump, you are indeed right. they nerfed us because we are smarter players. we know how to stop anyone in our path, and we dont run when we are about to die like those P*SSY hunters.


Ever since I started the game ive been playing a warrior. and when my fingers hurt from playing so good, I would just switch to my low lvl warrior. Indeed they are the best. Let Blizzard nerf us all they want. It will inspire true warriors to band together, and fight as one.

You are the first person I've heard say that and I agree whole-heartedly. I lead a battleground in warsong gulch at level 15. I mixed it up with level 19 hunters, shaman, priests, and warlocks. Guess who won...Me which goes to show you it's not the level of your character it's the guts you show in battle. I went into their base by myself and snatched the flag and scored the three points all the while murdering these level 19 characters with their precious abilities. I love being a warrior cuz we just focus on beating up creature face to face. Heck we can easily take care of a hunter's pet and then be in his face the next moment. We have a little bit of persuassion against spell casting *unsheaths sword* and those rouges they are just cowards who can't win a battle to save their life when it's face to face. Anyone else think that warrior truly haven't been nerfed. I have never seen a warrior class that had such unique skills.
