I am sorta glad that there's a Horde of NE hunters...their easier to kill, plus, in this abreviated version of 300 my friends and I are planning to make with WoW, it's gonna be fricking awsome when 200 NE hunters all raise their bows, use aimed shot, and collectively one-shot Saurfang.

when i first came to play a hunter i tryed both NE and dwarf to lv 10 but found NE was no good u need to play silver to get a better weapon cause they start off with a dagger when dwarfs start with an axe plus u get the gun bounes with dwarfs and i just love dwarfs they rule mainly cause i play warhammer and have a dwarf army so DWARF HUNTERS FTW NIGHTELF HUNTERS FTL

my hunter most recent hunter is dranae... +to hit for the party... and a nice heal over time that has saved me countless times. not to mention the females have some junk in the trunk... HOT>>>
I have a 60 orc hunter on the horde side, but now that blood elves have arrived I’ve started leveling up a male blood elf hunter.
In my opinion the best hunter race is the blood elf. There’s nothing like having a character that’s more handsome than Adonis, knows he is and is more than willing to remind people of such over and over and over again. He’s such a hoot to play. I love it when someone sends him a tell about his pet panda cub. His standard replay is that its almost as cute as he is.

The "NE explosion" if that's what you're calling it, happened a lot earlier than you think. Around the time of The Lord Of The Rings: The Two Towers was made (Movie wise) the greatest increase I would have to say, Night Elves making up over 45% of the hunter population (H/A). The greatest decrease in NE hunters, was around the levels of 15-20.
In short, most NE hunters are either pathetic fanbois of the game or little kids trying to be Legolas. You can expect inflation to be in the low level areas but deflation happens faster and more often than you think. I personally have a troll and a NE because, well just because. I'd have to take my troll over my NE because I'm goth and we root for the bad guys.

That's hurtful. Granted, I have watched LotR and enjoyed them, that doesn't mean I'm a pathetic kid or fanboy for choosing a Night Elf. I choose Night Elves since they looked best for me and I enjoy the lore behind them.
I didn't say that all NE are pathetic puppets drawn by the whim of fanbois. I said MOST of them are, and in fact that most of them are around the levels I illustrated in my post. I am not a racist in any way and rather look to the skill of the player...blah blah blah dead horse time.

Btw, you're judging based on your server =P I love my server because it's around 9monthes old and it was reccomended when the WoW South Park episode showed. I never had the pleasure of seeing that episode, but most of the people are mature adults on the server.

wannabee, trolls are the most non goth race out there.
they are the most solorful and happy race mon! (no offense to trolls, i like em =P)

undead are probably the most dark race in WoW, Nelfs the darkest race who can be hunters.... (hmm, WoW is a happy game if tree hugging hippies are one of the more dark looking races in it)

It’s interesting that Lord of the Rings was brought up as a reason to play a night elf. I happen to see it as one of the reasons not to play a night elf. I’m a big elf fan. I’ve read many fantasy novels with elves I liked. I was a huge fan of the Elf Quest comic when it was first coming out many moons ago. I started playing AD&D back in ’79 and I loved elves and half elves. And I’m a fan of the elves in Lord of the Rings. Night elves are nothing like any of them. It took me almost two years to play a night elf hunter and that was only after leveling both a male and female dwarf hunter to the level cap.

That was a joke right? Yes I do have a lizard and I do handle him often =P. I'm 24. Anyway, I wanted a snake but the girlfriend would not have that =P. She barely wanted the lizard. Although I wanted one those lizards that grow 6 feet [yes they do sell them at pet stores, when they're young that is] but I couldn't fit that in my cramped house, so had to settle for a Leopard Geico. But, I still love him =P.

Oops real life information. well, in fantasy books and games my favorite race/species/whatever is Elves. Not short elves, but tall agile elves. So naturally, when Blood Elves came out I jumped at playing one, just like I jumped at playing a Night Elf. They're lore and looks are just... me.

As for me I have a Dwarf hunter alt. Nelfs seem like they are more "ranger" if you are going fantasy style but if you want a more "Hunter" the dwarf w/ gun FTW!
I have laways liked dwarves in books and the pen and paper games I play so for me it wasn't matter of which race but waht class to play as a dwarf.
