Im rogue lvl 33 and out of the loop concerning abilities to pick locks, must have missed some Quests, last quest was Defias tower where i tried to get my poison abilities, but couldnt because i was unable to open the chest.
I put in a request to Blizzard about what to do and they said" ask other Rogues" and increase your ability by opening other random finded chests i WoW.
That is to say, i need to increas my abilities in locpicking to be able to aquire my poison abilities. What to do friends

Do you have the lockpick ability? Did you do the quest to get your Certificate of Thievery? If not then you may want to start here. http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=2259
Not sure if that is where you ally start lockpicking at. (I started in ratchet.) From best I can remember the tools I needed was free. That leads me to ask do you have the Thieves' Tools? If not then you can buy them, and I think there is a quest for them.

Well, if this is the 33 rogue in your sig, and you're playing Alliance..you don't really need lockpicking for your Poison tree-quest, chief. There's a drone outside the Tower who has the key to the chest..pickpocket him and off you go.
